Sizing

What's my size?

New to press-ons? I gotchu boo!

When we say "size," we mean how wide your natural nail is- literally measuring across from one side to the other (including the natural curve) in millimeters (mm).

Using literally anything that is flexible and can be written on, we like to use paper, place it across your nail at the widest point (normally across the middle of the nail).

  1. Start at one side of the nail - Place the paper right at the edge of your nail (don't include the skin, just the nail!)
  2. Mark the spot - Draw a line or make a dot there.
  3. Follow the curve - Keep the paper pressed flat against your nail as you move it to the other side.
  4. Mark again - Make a second line/dot at the far edge (not including the skin)
  5. Using a ruler, measure the distance between the two lines/dots in millimetres (mm).
  6. Note down your measurement, and repeat for every finger.
  7. Using the chart below, find your size!

If you have a measuring tape, you can find the width (including curvature) directly by measuring the distance between nail edges.

Alternatively, you can purchase one of our trial nails here, as different shaped nails can have slightly different measurements.

As these are handmade nails, you get a pack of 10 nails only. Each nail is made to a specific size. Measure twice, order once!

NOTE: If you are in-between sizes, or a mixture of sizes, go for the larger size. Nails that are too big can be filed down, but they don't stretch if they are too small.

Sizes may also vary depending on the shape of the nail. For example, stilettos tend to be ever so slightly narrower than square nails, etc., however this doesn't affect wear and you should still choose your usual nail size according to the chart below.
